Pre-Memorial Day Ceremony and Tribute Towers *Week Before Memorial Day
The 34 Tribute Towers (owned by Patriotic Productions-image attached) will be on campus for free public viewing
When: May 24 through May 27, 2021
Time: 8am – 8pm, Monday through Thursday the week prior to Memorial Day.

It not only gives everyone a chance to look face-to-face into the cost ofTribute Towers Flyer Updated 5-11-21 freedom, it also allows many to visit family (by blood or branch), that have died since 9/11. There will be Gold Star families on campus throughout the week, so it will be a sacred place, and a way to acknowledge their sacrifice, too.
Visitors on campus will also get to see 10,000 flags spelling out “ALWAYS REMEMBER” on the lawns, similar to the other photo.
At 10:00 on Friday, 28 MAY, there will be a virtual 30 minute Memorial Day Tribute. It is very worth attending! The link to register for that is also available through the link on the flyer, or here: https://bit.ly/33iPATn This is actually the 12th Annual Memorial Day Tribute at UOPX, but only the 2nd “virtual” ceremony. The sole intent is to honor those who paid the Ultimate Sacrifice. The daughter of AF pilot COL John Francis O’Grady (KIA 1965) will speak, along with the mom of Army 1LT Jacob Fritz (KIA 2007).

The 10,000 flags will be removed and donated to the National Cemetery in time for Memorial Day!
