Crafty Connections – Female Veterans and Children – August 5, 2016
“Crafty Connections is a FREE event will provide active duty military and veteran mothers and their children an opportunity to make connections with other families as they collaboratively create a mural. Each participant will be given a square canvas with a pre-drawn sketch on it.
Similar to a “Paint by Number”, the canvases will be marked to identify where specific colors should be filled in. Participants will use any materials provided to create their piece of the collage. Once all the canvases are created, collaboratively they will make up a collaged mural that will be featured in the building.
