Building Spiritual Strength Program – Registration Deadline March 24, 2021

The Casa Veterans Ministry at the Franciscan Renewal Center is pleased to announce the launch of Building Spiritual Strength, a new 8-week on-line healing program for veterans.

Building Spiritual Strength is a program for veterans to provide a place to find ways to be at peace in these turbulent times. It is an integrated group process designed to support veterans as they explore their spirituality in a safe, non-judgmental, ecumenical manner.  There will be three (3) small groups hosted for 8 weeks via Zoom, beginning in April. Each group will be composed of 4-6 veterans and accompanied by two facilitators, one who is a mental health professional, and the other is a clergy, spiritual director or military chaplain.

Many of us come from a variety of faith backgrounds or have wandered in and out of various spiritual practices.  Some have found their spiritual place, while others have felt abandoned by their faith or their higher power.  Many are looking for a place to explore and even expand their spirituality.  And that’s what Building Spiritual Strength is all about…to allow veterans to explore their spirituality without bias for one faith tradition over another in an open and trusting environment… to talk, to share and to assist one another on our journeys together.

The Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
