Another Collaborative Endeavor for our Women Veterans
Sallie’s Place is a project in the works and is for Women Veterans and their children. The complex is located just a few blocks from Mary Ellen’s Place. It features full sized two bedroom apartments.
Veterans First is working on obtaining funding to continue renovations of the property. There will be a security wall built around the property so children can play safely in the playground in the backyard designed just for them. It is located right across the street from the elementary school and close to the bus transit system.
