Veterans First Ltd. has formed an Advisory Committee to focus on the needs of Women Veterans. The committee held its first formal meeting in March, 2012. Mary Ann Derryberry accepted the role as Committee Chair. The committee meets every third Friday of the month at 1:00 pm, unless otherwise stated. Please contact Mary Ann Derryberry for location of meetings.
The committee is currently focused on organizing the “At-Risk and Homeless Military Women’s Retreat” scheduled for October 1, 2013 through October 4, 2013. The purpose of this Retreat is to bring together at-risk and homeless Women Veterans across Phoenix and surrounding area. The details of the event are forthcoming.
